Dominique's beautiful Nimbus is for sale
My friend and co-owner of this glider decided that a 15m glider with turbo would be a better option for us right now.
The glider remains for sale until end of February.
The glider is advertised at www.segelflug.de and www.gliderpilot.net.
These are the prices:
-Complete with Cobra trailer: 55000 euro
-Complete with older (suitable) trailer: 48000 euro
Also availble without the LX5000 (-2500 euro)
I recieved a quotation for transport costs to the US today: From Rotterdam (Holland) to Long Beach (Westcoast US) in a 40ft container the price is USD 3365,- (all inclusive)
Dominique Hayen lives in St. Truiden, Belgium, he bought this Nimbus 3 from the UK and had SZD-Jezow refinish the entire glider. It looks very, very nice. Dominique refinished the interior and made a new instrument panel from fiberglass himself. He plans to add contest number 25 to the vertical soon.
Below - the interior looks great, I certainly need to spruce up H4's interior after seeing this fine job!
Below - new seatbelts, upholstery and paint. I like the knob extension on the upper water ballast dump, I think I might do that, those knobs can be hard to pull.
