Paperjet Design
Foils - Frame - Hull - Deck - Sails and Rigging - Cost
I saw this racing skiff in Woodenboat magazine. It's a kit-built Dudley Dix design. I decided I had to have one, so I ordered a kit from Thirdcoastcomposites. The kit comes as six sheets of 4mm mahogany plywood with the component parts cut out with a water jet. Like popping out the parts of a model airplane. Glues together with epoxy. Pretty clever design.

The boat has the ability to fly three different rigs, single main like a Laser, main and jib or turbo rig with a larger main, jib and asymmetric spinner.
As always, I'll document the build and rigging on these pages, so stay tuned, the kit should be here in a couple of weeks.
